Based in Quinn, Co. Clare, Cottage Kennels provides boarding for all types of dogs in our spacious, fully equipped kennel facilities. We have a family run business and have been operating for over a decade, serving the needs of our local community and building up a loyal customer base. We take the utmost care to ensure all dogs are housed at our facilities are kept in a safe, comfortable and cleanly environment, and we will always endeavour to accommodate any special requests. We take up to 28 dogs at the one time, with individual kennels being provided for each dog. In cases where multiple dogs are coming from the same family we can house these dogs in the same kennel.
Each kennel features comfortable dog bedding, water bowls and, if required, a heat lamp. Our purpose built kennels are regularly cleaned to ensure sanitary conditions. During their stay, dogs are exercised twice daily in our spacious fields which feature adequate boundaries and fencing.
At Cottage Kennels we always take down the details of each dog housed here, including contact information for their vet. We have a good working relationship with all local vets but will always aim to bring a dog to their regular vet should any issues arise. We recommend bringing your own food but we also have dog food available.
Vaccinations
Before a dog can be housed in Cottage Kennels we require that it has received up to date vaccinations. This is for the safety of your dog and of all the other dogs staying here. Ask your vet for the most suitable vaccination programme for your dog.
Security
Cottage Kennels has CCTV and alarm monitoring systems installed, ensuring the safety of all dogs housed here. The health and safety of your dogs is our number one concern. We are fully trained and experienced in handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Viewings
If you are thinking about housing your dog at Cottage Kennels but would like to see our facilities first, we can arrange an appointment for a viewing.During this viewing we will show you where your dog will be kept and outline our health and safety measures. When we return your dog to you, you can rest assured that they will be happy and healthy.
